Who We Are

For over 200 years, our family has been brewing and serving communities from Massachusetts at the Buckman Tavern in 1776, to Grandpa Bucky during the depression in the 1930s. Our heart is to continue the family tradition here in Cabot, Arkansas with Buckman Brewhouse. Our dream is to create a place where people can enjoy high quality craft food and beverages and where every customer feels like family.

Picture this: nestled in the heart of a bustling town, there’s a brewhouse that’s more than just a place to grab a pint. It’s a cozy sanctuary where locals gather like a big family. As you step inside, the aroma of fresh brews mingles with the tantalizing scent of gourmet comfort food cooking in the kitchen. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with rustic wooden tables and twinkling string lights overhead.

Behind the bar, a row of gleaming taps offers an impressive selection of craft brews, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts and crisp lagers, each one brewed with passion and precision right on-site. But it’s not just about the brews; the brewhouse also boasts a menu filled with mouthwatering dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. Think handhelds made from artisanal breads, piled high with fresh meats and cheeses, hand-cut fries, and zesty house-made sauces, alongside fresh salads bursting with vibrant flavors. There’s also other craft beverages anyone can enjoy like house made craft sodas, kombuchas and mock tails.

But what truly sets this brewhouse apart is the sense of community that permeates every corner. It’s a place where neighbors come to unwind after a long day, where friends gather to celebrate life’s victories, and where strangers quickly become friends over shared pints and plates of delicious food. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you’re welcomed with open arms and treated like part of the family. And as you raise your glass in a toast to good company and great brews, you can’t help but feel grateful for stumbling upon this hidden gem of a brewhouse.

Chris Robbins is the Master Brewer, taste connoisseur, hospitality king and comedic relief. Chris has had a passion for brewing for the past 10 years and has been working hard to perfect his craft. When it comes to brewing, he only wants the very best ingredients for anyone who is lucky enough to taste the bubbly goodness. Even before his passion for brewing began, he has always loved people and teaching. He pastored for 15 years, was on boards for non-profits, and has been a teacher for 8 years. If you’ve been lucky enough to meet Chris in person, you will leave feeling loved and cared for with a good drink in your hand and a smile on your face - (and maybe a little razzed.)

Kim Robbins is the mama bear, sourdough master, chef extraordinaire, and creative queen. Kim has always loved to cook and create. She is a person who makes dreams reality and specializes in making memories that will last. She has always invited everyone to her table and, of course, made them delicious meals while they were there. When her children were young, she ran her own photography business for 18 years and perfected her craft. Everything she does she does with excellence. Then she started a health coaching business where she helped countless people. Something she and Chris share is their love for people and the longing to see lives changed for the better. They really just needed a bigger table.

Joshua Smith is the business mastermind, process expert, fixer-of-all-things and extroverted extrovert. He started brewing with Chris 8 years ago. His main job: making and fixing things to help with the process. He also loves a good craft beverage after a long workday. He has started and operated four successful businesses and has always been a hard worker. Beginning with mopping floors at a car repair shop he quickly moved his way up to Lead Technician and eventually became a partner at that same shop. His most favorite of favorite things, however, is working with people, coaching them, and helping them grow. If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Josh, you have probably laughed, chatted and left with something that used to be broken, now fixed and better than you imagined.

Reanna Smith is the creativity creator, connection specialist, drink-maker, and events coordinator. Reanna enjoys all things that bring beauty to this world, tasty food, good people, nature, pretty drinks, great atmosphere, and deep conversations. She has run her own photography business for the past 6 years, while also being a mama, homeschool teacher, and helping with a non-profit. She has a passion for seeing people go deeper and wider in their lives, getting unstuck and truly enjoying the life they get to live. Creating connections with people, making them feel seen and understood, and holding space for them is one of her gifts. If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Reanna you’ve probably seen a little dash of crazy mixed with a lot of love.
